PSCO Sign Group Powers Hitachi ABB Power Grids’ Global Rebrand
When a global conglomerate like Hitachi embarks on a massive rebranding, precision and expertise are paramount. Established in 1910, Hitachi stands as a multinational conglomerate headquartered in Japan. A significant milestone in its global strategy was the acquisition of a majority stake in ABB Power Grid, leading to the formation of Hitachi ABB Power Grids. This strategic joint venture dramatically expanded Hitachi’s global footprint to approximately 470 locations across 90 countries, encompassing a diverse portfolio of owned and leased properties.
Recognizing the critical importance of a unified global brand presence, Hitachi entrusted PSCO Sign Group with the responsibility for the Americas and Middle East regions during the Hitachi ABB rebrand program. Demonstrating our expertise and capacity for large-scale deployments, PSCO Sign Group played a crucial role in the Power Grids Brand Migration, spearheading the engineering, fabrication, and installation of both interior and exterior signage programs across a significant number of locations.
PSCO Sign Group undertook comprehensive project management responsibilities for the entire sign rollout program. This encompassed a wide spectrum of critical tasks, including comprehensive site surveys, thorough sign code checks, the development of site-specific design recommendations, and securing necessary landlord and permit approvals. We expertly managed fabrication scheduling, vendor selection, shipping coordination, installation oversight, and final billing.
Leveraging our extensive experience in global brand rollouts, PSCO Sign Group’s executive leadership actively collaborated with the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) program teams. This ensured seamless coordination and a consistent brand experience across all regions. Our proactive engagement provided invaluable resources and support, ultimately contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the rebranding initiative.
